Hi  everyone I realise that its been a number of months since I posted anything here . I have done quite a lot of photo shoots and the subsequent editing takes up a great deal of time and not making any excuses I have sort of ignored the blog. I think this is as important to me as part of John Gwynn Photography as everything else involved and I intend to try and get it more noticed. i WOULD LOVE TO SEE COMMENTS  on my photography and wether good or bad it is important to get good critique .

I have a FaceBook page  where i tend to direct my daily goings on and this is very helpful for meeting new models etc.

Please take a look , I do hope  to at some point be in a position where all my edits are up to date Im almost there and   this will give me the opportunity to update my website as well I think I need to dedicate maybe  4 hrs a week to upload new work so visitors can see my current photography and hopefully this will generate more interest. Steve is coming next week to implement further changes to the website , hopefully a live button to my online portfolio at Purestorm and Facebook.

New Gallery Layout

Hi Everyone

Steve has completed my new gallery database, which is now online. I am currently uploading more new photographs into their own catagories, which the new database allows . I hope you all like the new layout  its much more user friendly.

Website Gallery

Hi All

The planned changes to my gallery are taking shape  the main gallery consists of six galleries   Portraiture, Fashion, Model Portfolios, Landscapes, Projects,and finally weddings. Within each of these galleries I have the ability to create sections where I can upload specific photographs relevant to the section, so for example  in my portfolio section each model will have a different section name and will feature exclusively rather as at the moment all on the same page. The new gallery is underway and Steve is making great progress, hopefully it will be online quite soon sneak preview at  http://www.johngwynnphotography.co.uk/gallery/new.html this is a skeleton work in progress page which will be changing textually  and photographically, but will make the backend database more user friendly.

Redesign of Website Gallery

Hi

After discussion with my friend Steve who is also my web designer he is going to change the way in which the gallery works to enable the possibility of different genre being in their own gallery and not mixed as they are at the moment. Watch this space. Any comments will be appreciated. john

Askern Town Gala Saturday 5th June 2010

Saturday see the second Askern Town Victorian Gala  organised by   The Friends of Askern Lake  where wonderful work is being done to improve the area and make it family friendly and a credit to the community. I have been invited to photograph the gala by Mr Derek Collins who is the chair of the friends committee. Being opened at 10am by Queen Victoria with many events being held including the raft race on the lake which is not to be missed. Look out for the forthcoming gallery.  john

Denaby Main Gala Sunday 30th May 2010

For the second year I had the pleasure to photograph the now annual Denaby Main / Caedby   Miners Gala. A wonderful day with lots of attractions for the  parents and children alike, fairground rides , live bands , craft demonstrations , mining history collections on display  and much more . come next year you wont regret it, and its free. Doncaster University Fashion Show

Hi       I had the pleasure of photographing the annual fashion show held at The Dome Doncaster  after being invited by Deborah Pulleyblank  Assistant Director Faculty of Arts of the Uninversity.
